A little bit of history
The Bay Horse Pub & Restaurant is at the heart of the pretty village of Hutton Rudby, in North Yorkshire, We are ideally placed next to the village green with ample free parking, and easy access to the A19, and nearby Yarm, Stokesley and Great Ayton.
The pub dates back around 300 years, and has a really intimate feel with mood lighting creating a tasteful & intimate atmosphere for dining or just for a drink, whilst the restaurant has a lighter, brighter feel, with linen covered tables, for that more formal occasion.
Well-known for our warm welcome, we have developed menus for lunch and evenings covering all tastes to further develop our reputation for serving the finest food around, our traditional Sunday Lunches are proving as popular as ever explaining why we remain one of the Must Go To eating places in the area. The Bay Horse is known to many people as ‘their Local’, to pop into for a drink or a meal from the surrounding towns and villages..
We have created a beautiful garden complete with decked area offering fantastic views across the valley, we also have our Garden bar making it an ideal venue for weddings, BBQ’s and parties of all types, with heated marquees available to beat the weather if required – a hidden gem – for all your al fresco dining requirements,
We’re a great stopping off point for refuelling for all you walkers, cyclists and ramblers! And everyone else looking for an escape with fine food & wine, and good ale brewed on site at our own Brewery.
